Objectives

In furtherance exclusively of the foregoing main objective, the body shall have the following subsidiary objectives:

Foster cordial relationship among Ghanaians; promote the cultural heritage of Ghana and advance the general welfare and interests of Ghanaians and friends of Ghana in the United States of America.

The organization’s mission is in line with the fourth objective of TPP Global which states as such – Facilitate the implementation of pro-poor projects and initiatives for very low-income communities in the country (Ghana).

This is what will guide TPP USA as it work to facilitate the implementation of pro-poor projects and initiatives to build a better Ghana for all, especially the poor in society. TPP USA want to do this in a way that is open, transparent, and beneficial for everyone involved and society at-large. This means that TPP USA will work closely with all open minded Ghanaians who commit to support the organization’s mission.

VISION

TPP USA envisions a future in Ghana where underprivileged individuals and underserved communities have equal access to social, economic, technological, and political opportunities, and clear pathways exist for all regardless of ethnicity, gender, or socio-economic background to succeed in Ghana without seeking greener pastures abroad.

OUR STORIES

Breman Asikuma Project

The Breman Asikuma is the capital of the Asikuma/Odoben/ Brakwa District in the Central Region of Ghana.

In 2019, Lena S. Boakye (TPP organizer), viewied a very disturbing video that highlighted on an issue and how the issue posed serious health and life-threaten challenges to a community in the Central Region of Ghana.

It was just a timely coincidence that the Board of Directors of TPP was discussing a open to discussing future project. Lena took the opportunity to share the news from the disturbing video with the BOD.

With further deliberations, contact with the borehole contractor, the journalist who brought the issue to the attention of the public, as well as the community leaders; TPP USA, a humanitarian 501c3 nonprofit, selected its first major and signature project; to provide clean and safe water to this cocoa growing community.

The water project estimated at $12,000 (USD). With overwhelming monetary donations from members and nonmembers, the project started in November 2019 and completed May 2020.

NOTE: the project is not just an ordinary borehole. It’s a borehole with a water purification system that makes the water SAFE for drinking.

ACTIVITIES (INVESTMENTS FOR JOB CREATION AND YOUTH EMPOWERMENT)

  • Bee Farming

Lifetime Joy Company Limited Ghana is an Agriculture and Afro Processing company with passion of bringing quality, natural and healthy products and foods to consumers in Ghana and beyond.
On June 29, 2020, TPP USA members made an investment of $21,840 (Ghc 120,120), with Lifetime Joy Limited in Accra, Ghana. This investment is intended to increase honey production for the company and to create jobs for about 15-20 newly trained beekeepers. This is one of the first in a series of investments the group plans to undertake in the next 12-18 months to help create jobs.
